Ripton's Roar

Winter's cold,
but not cold enough to stop the flow
of Ripton's river old.

Out of sight,
still I can hear the water singing
as it runs with might.

Rocks abound
and liquid chords are played
as it flows around.

Sudden falls
great heights drum Ripton's roar
in nature's melodic calls.

Parallel road
runs down and along the river
hearing all that's told.

Ears hear
river ever telling of creator's glory
quelling my lonely fear.

Ripton, Vermont is the tiny town at the top of the mountain, just south of an area known as "Robert Frost Mountain". Middlebury River is a beautiful mountain river running along the road.

  1. The crew compartment is about halfway back again and can house two mini figures.
Somehow, the adults are also fascinated to have them for their own collection even when they no longer play with them.
Then jot down the name of your little kid on the
smooth and flat side using a permanent marker.
