He's Out There

He's Out There
By Mineke Audet  -  August 20, 2008

He's out there somewhere,
He's now all alone,
He's out there somewhere,
left by himself to roam.
He's out there somewhere
I hope he's okay,
He's out there somehwere,
When he should be home,
a better place to stay.
Right now he wants his freedom,
He wants to do things his way
All we want for him is that
he would be safe.
To trust that we know a little about life,
We don't want to cause him any pain,
frustration or strife.
We just want to guide and prepare him
for the world outside.
But if he continues down this road,
that will no longer be in our hands
to decide.
